Based in Kuopio, Savonia University of Applied Sciences (UAS) is one of Finland’s most multidisciplinary universities of applied sciences. Savonia UAS has strong connections into the regional, national and international art and cultural organisations and educators.

 

Its School of Music and Dance offers a well-established Bachelor of Culture and Arts in Dance Pedagogy and MA Art Pedagogy studies. Savonia educate independent dance teachers, with a strong artistic and pedagogic approach, for a professional career within dance teaching. After graduation our students will have strong pedagogical skills as well as both technical and expressive skills for variety of job positions.

 

Savonia UAS improves the dance ecosystem by connecting different stakeholders through NewSteps-project. This will be the part of regional multidisciplinary ecosystem development actions for the creative industries, tourism, and event production.

Spaces Foundation
Bulgaria

Founded in 2018 by artists from various disciplines, Spaces Foundation promotes art as a tool for social and cultural growth. It collaborates with over ten cultural institutions, notably the Theater Department of New Bulgarian University and Sofia University, providing educational opportunities through internships and non-formal training. Since 2022, SPACES has served as a primary internship partner at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

 

The organization is a leading institution in art and art-based education at the national level, offering training opportunities for students and artists in the Non-Formal Education program to gain experience in organizational management and application of performing arts in education and the social sector. With over 7 years of experience, it is nationally recognized for integrating the performing arts into education and social initiatives.

Phoenix Dance Club
Romania

Phoenix Dance Club is a Bucharest-based organization founded in 1999, recognized as one of Romania’s leading dance institutions. It is known for flagship events such as the Phoenix Dance Festival and Dancemasters—Romania’s largest international dancesport competition, organized annually since 2003. Phoenix delivers inclusive dance and education programs for participants aged 4 to 77, operating in Bucharest and other cities through a wide network of classes, workshops, and community initiatives.

 

The organization collaborates nationally and internationally with public authorities, NGOs, schools, and sports clubs to design partnership programs that promote active lifestyles and participation in dance. It also plays a key role in supporting dancers’ professional pathways, facilitating their transition into teaching, coaching, and cultural management roles.

Italy

MVI is a pan-European network comprising 37 NGOs from the 27 EU member states, 10 non- EU European countries, and 8 partner organizations from Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

 

Established in 2012, ENGO-MVI focuses on issues related to social entrepreneurship, non- formal education, and sustainability, with 13 years of experience in managing EU-funded projects. It actively engages in public discourse on civil society engagement, influencing policies in its areas of interest. MVI has been involved in numerous projects fostering creativity and artistic expression, developing global awareness-raising and dissemination campaigns such as the 2024 “Women in Tech” campaign, themed “#Tech Has No Gender, Only Potential.” Additionally, MVI’s annual social campaigns serve as a testament to its commitment to creative and artistic projects. By collaborating with cultural NGOs, MVI develops meaningful initiatives.

Dance Club Mimi
Slovenia

Dance Center Mimi, located in Ljubljana, is a renowned dance association dedicated to providing dance and competitive dance training at the national and international levels. The center welcomes over 50 children and adults daily, ranging from young beginners to elite performers competing at the highest levels, offering courses and summer camps for children and promoting the value of dance nationwide. The dance center’s core values include fostering a love for movement through music, cultivating meaningful connections among dancers, and developing strong technical foundations. In 2024, the club earned two titles as national, European, and world champions in both the Youth and Adult 2 categories.

 

With over 150 active members training in technique and choreography, the center is led by its founder and head coach, Mimi Marčac Mirčeta, and a group of professional dancers. The organization maintains a large network of dance organizations and clubs at the national level.

Italy

Hypex is an Italian software company and startup that has been working to create and advance next-generation interactive experiences for the cultural and educational sectors in the fields of communication, entertainment, and edutech. Recognized as a leading Italian tech-culture startup, it brings extensive expertise in game-based learning and digital narrative tools. Hypex is currently working on projects involving artificial intelligence and deep learning algorithms, advanced models of digital game-based learning, narrative learning, and digital storytelling.

 

Hypex participated in the Rome Film Festival and the Venice International Film Festival with its interactive films. It was selected as one of the top 5 Italian tech-culture startups of 2023.

 

In 2019, it created the experience "A Night at the Castello Sforzesco," an interactive virtual tour inside Milan’s Castello Sforzesco.
